that true religion involves an immediate, inward, personal encounter with God - that this, rather than ritual and ceremony, is what we must experience to obtain salvation.

that worship is a personal, positive act of seeking, rather than a performance – that communion is an inner spiritual experience rather than an outward observance.

Community Outreach

Social Concerns Outreach Projects

We continue to support our local food pantry, SAFE (Southern Alamance Family Empowerment).  Click here more information about SAFE.

Allied Churches of Alamance County receives our support.  Click here for more information on how you can help.

Throughout different times of the year, we add other organizations to our helping hands list.  These may include programs such as Toys for Tots, Give a Kid a Coat, sponsoring a family at Christmastime, etc.

Many thanks for your support!!!

Getting ready for school....
Backpacks, notebooks, pencils, glue sticks, etc.
Pick up a few extra school supplies and drop them off in our foyer.

Pantry supplies for S.A.F.E.

We are starting up our Backpack Program again for BE Jordan Elementary School.  Eligible children deemed to be chronically hungry receive nutritious and child friendly food items for the weekends, throughout the school year. Without this program, these children would come to school hungry on Monday.
We are in need of individual portions of food, like canned pastas, breakfast items, fruit cups, snacks, juice, etc.

Youth Fundraising
For Project Ark, our youth has a goal to raise $5000 for Heifer International. That money would allow us to buy an ark to send to a poor village in another country.  That ark would include two sheep, two goats, two water buffalo, bees, chicks, rabbits, two cows, and more. These animals would help the people in the village by providing them with food, goods to sell , transportation, and better crops.  This creates sustainability and an economy within the village.
Our goal was reached!! Woohooo!!
Thank you to all who have given your change, for change!!
